Visa/Invitation letters

Visa

Depending on your nationality you may be required to obtain a visa to enter Japan. Please apply for your Visa well in advance of your travel. As visa guidelines and application requirements vary considerably depending on the country, we recommend that you contact the Japanese embassy in your home country as early as possible to inquire about the specific visa regulations regarding your country. We ask you to contact JTB IHTC-15 Desk if you need the VISA application form. If you require documents provided from Japan for visa application, please also contact the JTB IHTC-15 Desk.

  • We are only able to issue required documents for visa application to participants who complete registration and full payment of registration fee. Note that the visa refusal is no reason for refund of the registration fee.
  • We will respond to your request on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • Please contact again if you do not receive any response from us within 3 working days.
  • The JTB IHTC-15 Desk for Visa application is open until JUNE 30th.

    *Nationals and citizens of those countries and regions listed on the following website are not required to obtain a visa to enter Japan if they are satisfied with the requirements for exemption of visa. For details, please contact the Japanese Embassy in your home country.

    Invitation letters

    If you require a letter of invitation from IHTC-15, please submit a request for a letter of invitation to The JTB IHTC-15 Desk. Files for requesting a letter of invitation:
    MS Word format, PDF format

    At least one of the following criteria must be met in order to honor the request for a letter of invitation. The requesting party must either:

  • Be an author of an accepted paper.
  • Have paid the advanced registration fee for this conference.

    • It is to be understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa. It is NOT a commitment on the part of the IHTC-15 organizer to provide any financial support.
