Q. How is the length and size of full manuscript?
A. Papers submitted using A4 size pages should be no more than 15 pages (including tables, figures and references) for contributed papers and no more than 20 pages for keynote papers. Very short papers and very long papers are discouraged. Papers may include colour figures. Each file size should not exceed 4M byte (keynote 8M byte) after transforming to a PDF file.
Q. I uploaded my full manuscript, but there is no confirmation email. Was my manuscript successfully uploaded?
A. You can check the status of your manuscript on the Author's home page. If you can find the PDF file on the "Files" tag page of your own page, the file was uploaded successfully. No confirmation mail will be sent to the authors for the "upload" process.
Q. I cannot find the "Submit Full Manuscript" button.
A. The "Submit Full Manuscript" button is available now. You can complete the uploading and submission of your manuscript.
Q. I cannot login to the system.
A. Sometimes you cannot login to the system due to an unexpected forced termination of the system. Please go to the top page (login page) of the website "http://submission.ihtcdigitallibrary.com/usr/login.html" and retry to type your User Name (email address) and Password. If it doesn't work, please click "Forgot password". The technical staff will help you fix the problem.
Q. Where is the template for the full manuscript?
A. Please click the "Author's Kit" which you can find at the menu bar shown on the top-right corner of your author's page. You will find the template of the full length manuscript. The instruction to find the "Author's Kit" is also shown in "paper submission" page.
Q. I am planning to submit recent topics to another Journal. Is it necessary to submit a full-length manuscript?
A. Yes, you are required to submit a full manuscript for the presentation in the IHTC-15. As described in the policy statement, duplicate publication of original research is considered a breach of the ethical code of conduct for scientists.
Q. I am using the LaTeX format. In the Readme.pdf included in the LaTeX Kit, it says that I should change to 'review version'. Do I have to select this version? The format will look different to the one shown in the "Paper_Example.pdf".
A. Please ignore the 'review' option described in the "Readme.pdf" included in
the LaTeX template kit. You do not need to select the 'review version'. Please submit your full manuscript in normal style using the 'final version'.
Q. The status of my manuscript is "to ACCEPTED_WITH_CORRECTIONS " and I need to submit the revised paper. What is the deadline for the revised paper?
A. The deadline for the revised paper is April 30. Please check the important dates for other deadlines, too.

Q. How can I register an exhibit booth? Who do I contact if I have questions about the exhibits?
A. We have prepared a site for exhibits. The information on the booth, registration and contact address are shown in this page. Please see Events-> Exhibits.
Q. How can I register for sponsoring the IHTC-15? Who do I contact if I have questions about the sponsorship?
A. Please contact the Exhibition/Sponsorship Administrator. You can find his address in the "exhibits" site. Please see Events-> Exhibits.
Q. A student will make a presentation for our paper. Do we (does she/he) need to make a full registration?
A. Yes. One Regular (full) registration is required for each paper even if it is presented by a student. Please note that the presenter does not always need to make the Regular registration. At least one of the authors should make a Regular registration. For co-author of plural papers, please also note that your registration will cover only one of the papers. The other paper(s) should be covered by another Regular registration(s). Please see Registration.
Q. I have submitted two papers as a corresponding author. Do I need to make two full registrations to present these papers?
A. Yes. Your registration will cover only one of the papers. The other paper should be covered by another Regular registration. Please see Registration.
Q. To whom should I ask to get the documents required for applying the Visa?
A. The IHTC-15 registration desk will try to send you the documents you request. Please visit the "Visa/Invitation letters" page. Check the conditions and contact the IHTC-15 registration desk for Visa documents.
Q. I need an invitation letter. To whom should I contact to send me the letter?
A. Please visit the "Visa/Invitation letters" page. Fill the "Request for invitation letters" form and send it to the IHTC-15 registration desk for invitation letters. Please check the conditions listed in the page before send us the request form.
Q. I would like to attend the Young Researchers Meeting. To whom should I contact?
A. Thank you! We are now preparing the registration form for the YRM. It will be opened by the end of March.
Q. When and how should I pay the fee for the YRM? Is it not included in the conference registration?
A. No,the fee for YRM is not included in the conference fee. You also need to make a registration for YRM in addition to the conference registration. We will inform you about the payment soon. Please visit the YRM site for further information.
Q. Is the Young Researchers Meeting one of the technical sessions?
A. No, the YRM is not a technical session but an event. We are planning to have a lunch meeting at the conference site, a tour visiting special areas of Kyoto, and having a dinner meeting at a different place during the IHTC-15. Please visit the YRM site for further information. We will update the detail schedule after opening the registration form.
Q. I would like to book a hotel. Is the conference providing any service for booking a hotel?
A. Yes. We and the travel agency have prepared several hotels with a reduced conference rate. Please visit the "Travel Information/Accommodation" page. Please note that the reduced conference rate is not guaranteed to be the lowest price.
Q. Can I cancel my registration?
A. Please visit the online registration site where you can find the cancelation policy. The link button for the online site is located at the bottom of the "Registration" page. Press the "Registration" button shown in the Application Procedures column, which will take you to the "Registration Application Procedure" page. You will find the cancelation policy at the middle of this page.
Q. I cannot login to the registation site using the ID and password I used for abstract/paper submission. Is the ID different? Do I need to create a new account?
A. Yes, please create a new ID and password at the registration website of IHTC-15. Since the IHTC Digital Library (IDL) is established by Begell House, the review and the publication process are dealt with by the system of the Begell House. The registration, on the other hand, is managed by a local system of IHTC-15. Thank you for your cooperation.
Q. Are the Banquet and Lunch fees included in the registration fee?
A. Yes, the regular registration includes Banquet, Lunch, Reception and Refreshments. For students, there are two categories with/without Banquet. Please visit the "Registration" site for further information.
Q. How can I reach the conference site? What is the best transportation?
A. Please visit the "Venue" site to see the access to the Kyoto International Conference Center (venue).
Q. There are several e-mail addresses found in the IHTC-15 site. To which address should I contact?
A. Please choose the e-mail address for your specific inquiry.
